About
We believe your financial data should work as hard as you do.
Cache is the financial data layer for AI agents. We connect, normalize, and expose your financial data so your tools can finally understand your money.
Our mission
The financial industry has spent decades building walls around data. Every bank has a different format. Every app shows a different slice. No single system sees the whole picture.
We started Cache because we were tired of building integrations that should have existed. We wanted to ask our AI assistants about our finances and get real answers. We wanted a single source of truth that updated automatically and was queryable from anywhere.
So we built it. An open-source core that normalizes financial data. A hosted layer that connects to Plaid and watches for anomalies. A data layer that turns your money into something your agents can understand.
Our journey
Three engineers from Plaid and Stripe started building the financial data layer they wished existed.
Raised $4.2M to accelerate development of the open-source core and Plaid integration.
Opened access to 2,000 developers. Processed first million transactions within 60 days.
$18M led by Craft Ventures to expand the AI caretaker and enterprise features.
Completed Type II audit. Now trusted by financial institutions and regulated businesses.
